#Halloween is here. I #AmWriting AND I #amreading!
Posted by oneofthedragons
Hello all! I’m back up to my regular pace in the writing sphere, which is an awesome thing! Back after last year’s NaNoWriMo, I was so absorbed in trying to understand the publishing process and getting my book published that I became disenchanted with the business in general. I lost my spark for writing, and it’s taken quite a long time to recover. I’m finally writing nearly every day again, and it feels wonderful!
Here’s the cover of Frankie’s book. I’d classify it as a sci-fi thriller with heavy elements of psychology and horror. There’s a link for it on the blog, but you can find it on Amazon and Smashwords. 🙂 Go buy it. Seriously. I’m not just saying that because she’s my friend. It’s a rare book that makes me chew on my fingers and keep turning pages like “OMG, that’s so disturbing!”
And, as promised, here’s a link to my Wiselike:
Ask me anything! Thought about writing, but aren’t sure what you’re doing? Need a second opinion on a writing idea? Want some feedback? Curious about what I’m writing, or have any questions for me about my process? Want to know anything more personal? Ask away!
I don’t believe you need an account to ask a question.
Well, that’s it for me! Hope you enjoyed the Poop Hat. ^_^
About oneofthedragonsSamantha K. Balk and F. R. Donaldson met on An Archive of Our Own, one of the many fanfiction sites online, when Sam asked Frankie to illustrate the fanfiction that would one day lead to Sam's first novel. They've been friends ever since! This blog was created as a way to share the oftentimes difficult journey any new author experiences on the uncomfortable quest of an introvert for attention to his or her most personal work. It is meant to remind you that authors don't just appear fully fledged like a George R. R. Martin, that all of us start out unsure and feeling inadequate. Feel free to ask us anything.
